The Green Room surf forecast for the Cape Fear region will be updated on an "event basis"! I'm not going to tell you every day, all summer long, that the surf is knee to waist high with SW winds. There are plenty of other sites on the web that do that already. What I will do, is keep a constant eye on the maps and forecast sites and let you know a couple of days ahead of time when the conditions are going to be best in our area for some real surfing. Look for the green "Alert” on our home page! As a general rule: I will only post surf forecasts when it is going to be at least stomach high or of a long enough period to give us some substantial push.

The forecast page is for YOU, the Green Room visitor. We want to provide you with all the tools you need to make your own decision about the surf. In addition to my forecast synopsis; we would like to post the weather charts and maps that you feel are most informative and useful.
